Nadia Rahed

Objective:

• Get into an Ivy League college like Harvard, Yale, Princeton , etc.

Education:

• Successfully completed elementary school and middle school. In middle school my GPA in 6th grade was 3.7, in 7th grade it was a 4.0 and in 8th grade it was a 3.83
• Right now I am at Vista Murrieta in 9 th grade, my GPA last semester was a 3.67
• Courses Studied: Geometry, CP Biology, Advanced English I, Computers I, Spanish I, Computers/Careers, Health, and Mythology

Work Experience:

• House chores: I have been washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and taking out the trash for about 5 years.
• Computers: I know how to make simple web pages using html. By the end of the year, I will also know how to make web pages using Dreamweaver. My typing range is 60-70 words per minute, depending on what I am typing.
• Writing: I have been writing fiction stories and poems for 10 years, and plan to be a successful writer in the future. Two of my poems have been published.

Activities/Awards:

• Interact Club: Right now I am involved in Interact Club. I have already completed about four hours of work that will benefit the community.
• Awards: Last year at Shivela Middle School , I received an award for Most Improved in Physical Education. I had started off running a 13 minute mile and ended up with about a 9 minute mile at the end of the year.
• Spelling: In 7 th grade, I won the Class, School, and City Spelling Bees. I placed 6 th in the County Spelling Bee .

Special Skills:

• Music : I played the violin for two years, practicing about five hours a week.
• Computers : I am very familiar with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and organizing files on a computer. I now know HTML code to design web pages and will soon learn to use Dreamweaver to make a more complex web page.
